Privilege escalation in Red Hat multicluster engine for Kubernetes allows attackers to gain cluster-wide access via a compromised addon-manager pod. The managed-serviceaccount add-on binds addon-manager to a ClusterRole that grants cluster-wide Secret read access and the ability to approve arbitrary CertificateSigningRequests. Exploitation requires control of that pod or its service account on the hub cluster; once obtained, attackers can extract tokens copied back as Secrets and authorize additional credentials inside the cluster.
