Code execution via unchecked template-kit ZIP entries
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Pixar Labs Master Addons for Elementor 3.1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The upload_template_kit handler accepts upload_files capability and extracts ZIP entries without validating each entry's file type. Editor access is sufficient because editors can obtain the required nonce from the Pages list; an uploaded executable file enables server-side code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
