CVE-2026-75910Network attack vector

Account-secret disclosure via unrestricted deployment permissions

Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Incorrect privilege assignment in Amazon Athena ClickHouse connector before 2026.17.1 allows remote authenticated users to read account secrets. The deployment template grants the connector access to arbitrary Secrets Manager entries and accepts a connection string pairing an unrelated secret with an attacker-controlled database endpoint. An authenticated user who can configure and invoke the connector can make its Lambda process retrieve the selected secret and transmit it as database credentials.
