Unsafe deserialization in Zurich Instruments LabOne Q allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by loading a crafted experiment file. The import_cls mechanism accepts an arbitrary fully qualified class name from serialized data, imports that class without a module allowlist, and instantiates it with attacker-controlled arguments. Affected releases start at 2.41.0 and end before 26.1.2, plus 26.4.0b1 through 26.4.0b5; a user must deserialize the file, and code runs with that user's privileges.
