Privilege escalation via unchecked SSO account identity
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Authentication bypass in ManageEngine OpManager 12.8.710 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access the APM Plugin as another account. The APM Plugin SSO login flow accepts a requested account identity without verifying that it matches the OpManager user who initiated the request. A logged-in user with Applications Manager module access can impersonate an administrator and obtain that account's privileges.
