Administrator session forgery via X.509 certificate poisoning

Authentication bypass in miniOrange SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login 5.4.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain administrator sessions. The mo_saml_login_validate ACS handler stores an X.509 certificate from an incoming SAMLResponse before enforcing signature validation when mo_saml_find_certificate reports a fingerprint mismatch. Exploitation requires a WordPress administrator to invoke the offered repair after the resulting test-configuration error, after which forged assertions can authenticate as any account.
