CVE-2026-75784Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Memory corruption via Server header overflow

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in the HTTP header handler in TRENDnet TEW-WLC100 1v2.07b01 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via the Server header. In /usr/nginx/sbin/nginx, FUN_0040da4c handles the Server header unsafely; the public PoC sends 68 filler bytes in that header and overwrites the saved return address on the stack. The issue is reachable over the device's HTTP management interface without authentication, and the published evidence supports reliable process compromise or crash even though no vendor root-cause analysis is public.
