Persistent VM code execution via unverified rootfs.img

VM image integrity failure in Anthropic Claude Desktop Cowork 1.1348.0 through 1.2278.0 allows local users to gain persistent VM code execution. Its startup path checks only that rootfs.img exists and carries the expected version marker, then boots it without verifying the image contents. Unprivileged code execution as the victim macOS user is required to alter the image; subsequent VM boots execute the tampered filesystem and expose host-mounted directories.
