Authenticated browser script execution via undisclosed DOM handling
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. Adobe has not identified the affected client-side component or disclosed which DOM source reaches which executable sink; the public record states only that manipulating the DOM environment triggers script execution. Affected releases are 6.5.24 and earlier, 6.5 LTS SP2 and earlier, and Cloud Service 2026.7.0 and earlier; exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to visit a crafted webpage.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
