Session hijacking via stored script injection
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Stored XSS in Adobe Connect 12.11 and earlier and its Android app 4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to hijack a victim session. Adobe identifies vulnerable form fields as the storage and delivery path for malicious JavaScript but has not published the affected fields or the code that fails to neutralize the input. Execution requires a victim to browse the page containing the stored field, after which the script runs in the victim browser and grants elevated access to the account or session.
