Browser script execution via DOM manipulation
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. Attacker-controlled DOM data reaches browser execution, but Adobe has not disclosed the affected client-side component or unsafe DOM operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim who visits a crafted webpage; resulting script execution occurs in the victim's AEM origin.
