Authenticated SSRF via unvalidated chat webhook URLs
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Novu before 3.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to send POST requests to internal services. The chat delivery path forwards unvalidated webhook URLs from subscriber credentials, channel endpoints, payloads, or overrides to raw HTTP clients in nine providers. Standard authenticated permissions are sufficient, and the worker can reach restricted services and trigger actions accepted through POST requests.
