Attachment disclosure via unchecked Mass Update attachment copying
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Access control bypass in EspoCRM before 10.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted files through Mass Update. In application/Espo/Tools/MassUpdate/Processor.php, copyFileField and copyAttachmentMultipleField duplicate attachments identified by caller-supplied IDs without checking read access. Exploitation requires Mass Update permission and a valid attachment ID, exposing copied file contents despite record-level and field-level restrictions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
