Database compromise via unescaped message search
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
SQL injection in QloApps before 123c97c allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to alter the database. CustomerMessage::searchByName inserts the bo_query-derived search term directly into a message LIKE clause without pSQL escaping. Administrative back-office access is required, and successful injection permits reading, modifying, or deleting data available to the application database account.
