Administrator RCE via filename-derived upload extension
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in QloApps before 153ec1c allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary code. The ajaxProcessUploadBookingDocument flow trusted the uploaded filename extension and client-reported MIME type, then HotelBookingDocument preserved that extension when placing the file in its document directory. Administrative back-office access is required; a crafted executable upload can become web-accessible and run with the web application's privileges.
