CVE-2026-75370Public exploit

Service interruption via hardcoded CAN payload length

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026

Out-of-bounds access in SpaceDot AcubeSAT OBC software commit eaf90ec allows attackers to interrupt service with a crafted CAN message. MessageParser::parseECSSTC passes a hardcoded 64-byte length to parseECSSTCHeader, which copies 59 bytes without checking the actual CAN payload length. Access to the OBC CAN bus is required; a short type-33 telecommand processes residual buffer data and destabilizes command handling.
