Configuration disclosure via whitelisted unauthenticated APIs
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Incorrect access control in disconf 2.6.36 allows remote attackers to read all managed configuration items and files without authentication. LoginInterceptor exempts four configuration-fetching API paths from login checks even though their handlers return stored configuration values and file contents. Network access to disconf-web is sufficient; the bounded consequence is disclosure of stored configuration data, including any credentials it contains.
