Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via stored report query
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
SQL injection in smart-web2 1.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the backend report module. ReportController.save() stores the user-controlled sqlResource.sql value, and ReportSqlResourceService later passes it directly to Hibernate native-query methods without parameterization or filtering. Ordinary logged-in access is sufficient; resulting database reads, writes, or deletion remain bounded by the application's database privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
