Unauthenticated file disclosure via unsanitized path parameters
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Path traversal in yx-image-recognition 1.0 allows remote attackers to list directories and read arbitrary server files via HTTP GET. FileController and recognition controllers URL-decode user-controlled dir or filePath values and pass them to new File() without containment validation. The public Spring MVC interfaces require no authentication; demonstrated impact is directory listing and file disclosure within the service account's access.
