Unauthenticated open redirect via unchecked logout destination
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Open redirect in WP Ghost 7.0.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect logged-in users via a crafted logout URL. The logout handler in models/Rewrite.php accepts the redirect_to value and redirects to it after wp_logout() without restricting external destinations. A logged-in victim must follow the link; the flow terminates the session before sending the browser to an attacker-chosen site.
