CVE-2026-75164Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file read via file parameter

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Arbitrary file read in MBS-Solutions X-Serie Gateway firmware V6_00_05 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve device files. The /cgi-bin/ugwdownload.cgi handler uses the attacker-controlled file query parameter to select filesystem paths without enforcing an authorized path boundary. A low-privileged Standard-role account is sufficient, and successful exploitation exposes arbitrary files readable by the handler.
