CVE-2026-75135Hinoki check available

Vault decryption via retained backup key

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026

Sensitive data exposure in Septeo IT Solutions UpSignOn before 7.19.0 allows local users to decrypt vault contents from process memory. UpSignOn.exe retains a backup key after the vault is re-locked; that key decrypts the encrypted master-password backup in v6-vault1.DATA.txt. Local users able to read the process memory can recover the master password, decrypt the main vault, and export every stored entry in cleartext.
