Authenticated service crash via unchecked POST copies
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Stack buffer overflows in PLANET GS-4210-16P2S firmware before 3.441b260626 allow remote authenticated users to crash the web service. Multiple dispatcher.cgi POST handlers copy attacker-controlled parameters into fixed-size stack buffers without validating their lengths. Administrator-level web-management access is required, and crafted requests crash the CGI process or interrupt the web-management service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
