Authenticated command execution via unsanitized SMTP server value
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
OS command injection in PLANET GS-4210-16P2S firmware before 3.441b260626 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via its web interface. The web_smtp_test_post handler at /cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi places the caller-supplied SMTP server value into a shell command without adequately sanitizing shell metacharacters. Administrator web credentials and network reachability to the management interface are required; successful exploitation grants arbitrary operating-system command execution on the switch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
