Authenticated command execution via unsanitized certificate password
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
OS command injection in PLANET GS-4210-16P2S firmware before 3.441b260626 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The /cgi-bin/httpuploadcert.cgi handler incorporates the certificate password into a shell command without sanitizing shell metacharacters. Administrator web credentials and a crafted certificate-upload request are required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied operating-system commands on the switch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
