Pre-auth code execution via unchecked encrypted request
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in TP-Link TL-MR100 V3.20 before 1.3.0 Build 260609 allows remote attackers to execute code via /cgi/login. The http_gdpr_decrypt function processes an oversized encrypted login request in a fixed-size httpd stack buffer without sufficient bounds checking. Access to the adjacent network and management interface is required; successful exploitation crashes httpd or executes code in its process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
