Authenticated data access via delid SQL injection
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
SQL injection in /viewdepartment.php in itsourcecode Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data via delid. The department-view handler uses the delid request parameter in a SQL statement without validating or parameterizing it, and the published proof of concept shows a time-based payload that triggers SLEEP(5). Reachability requires a valid login to the application, and the available evidence supports unauthorized query execution with database read, modification, or delay effects rather than code execution.
