CVE-2026-75085

Out-of-bounds read via received-frame length underflow

Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026

Zephyr RTOS STM32WBA radio-driver underflow allows physically proximate attackers to cause an out-of-bounds read via received frames. The stm32wba_802154_rx_thread() function subtracts the FCS length without validating the reported length, then passes the wrapped byte count to net_pkt_write(), copying adjacent RAM into a network packet. Reaching the flaw requires the vendor link layer to accept a frame shorter than its FCS without error; assertions are disabled by default, and external retrieval of the copied memory is not established.
