Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized room_type
Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Hotel Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data through room_type. The /index.php/reservation/check handler inserts the room_type POST value directly into SQL queries without validation or parameter binding. No login is required, and demonstrated error-based and time-based payloads can read, modify, or delete database data and interrupt service.
