CVE-2026-75057

Credential disclosure via plaintext IDE logging

Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026

Information disclosure in JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.1.5 allows local users to read Git credentials via IDE log entries. JetBrains states that Git credentials were written to the IDE log in plaintext, exposing secrets in a file intended for diagnostic output; the specific logging path has not been publicly disclosed. Reachability is local because an attacker must obtain access to the affected workstation or its log files, and the disclosed impact is credential exposure rather than code execution or service interruption.
