CVE-2026-75038Hinoki check available

Local service interruption via predictable temporary file

Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026

Symlink following in Ilya Zlobintsev LACT 0.10.0 and earlier allows local users to interrupt the service via a crafted link in /tmp. LACT creates a predictable temporary pathname in /tmp and follows an attacker-placed symbolic link instead of creating the file without link traversal. The published record does not identify the pathname, link target, or exact interruption mode; exploitation requires low-privilege local access.
