Arbitrary file upload via font ZIP extraction
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Themeum Kirki before 6.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to place web files via font ZIP uploads. The custom-font upload feature accepts user-supplied webfont ZIP archives, extracts them into a web-accessible directory, does not adequately validate the archived file set, and does not remove disallowed extracted files after unpacking. Editor-role access is required; the resulting exposure is stored XSS from uploaded web content, and some server configurations can also execute uploaded files as code.
