Cross-origin data access via WebRender isolation failure
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Site isolation failure in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird before 154, including ESR before 153.1, allows remote attackers to cross origins. Mozilla has not published the flawed WebRender operation because the linked bug remains access-restricted. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled content and permits limited cross-origin reading and modification without interrupting availability.
