Privilege escalation in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird allows remote attackers to gain elevated privileges through crafted web content. Mozilla has not disclosed the faulty operation in the Graphics: CanvasWebGL component or how untrusted input reaches it. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled content; ordinary Thunderbird mail reading is not exposed because scripting is disabled.
