CVE-2026-74851Network attack vector

Author-level code execution via callback blocklist bypass

Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Code injection in Pods – Custom Content Types and Fields before 3.3.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute server code. The shortcode display-callback validation incorrectly compares a requested callback with a blocked-function list, allowing a prohibited callable to run. Author-level access or higher is required, and exposure is limited to restricted display-callback mode, enabled automatically when the first installed Pods version predates 3.1.
