Process crash via unbounded array fill
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Denial of service in Scriban before 7.2.0 allows remote attackers to crash host processes through a large array.insert_at index. ArrayFunctions.InsertAt appends null entries until the array reaches the supplied index, without calling StepLoop or enforcing LoopLimit or LimitToString. Exposure requires an application to render attacker-controlled or attacker-influenced templates; one crafted template exhausts memory and terminates or stalls the hosting process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
