Visitor script execution via unescaped custom scripts
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
Stored XSS in wowDevs Sky Addons for Elementor 3.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The sky-custom-scripts post type exposes sky_script_content through the REST API, then renders insufficiently sanitized content without output escaping. Author-level access is required; injected scripts persist across frontend pages and execute for site visitors.
