Kernel crash via unsynchronized kfifo access

An out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel Aspeed LPC snoop driver allows local users to crash the system through a kfifo race. The IRQ-side put_fifo_with_discard() updates the kfifo producer and consumer indexes without synchronizing with snoop_file_read(), allowing kfifo_copy_to_user() to read past its kmalloc-2k backing store. Exploitation requires an SMP system, local access to the snoop device, and concurrent IRQ activity; hardened usercopy aborts the unsafe copy with a kernel BUG.
