Authenticated SSRF via improperly validated upstream redirects
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
SSRF in GitLab EE before 18.9.7, 18.10.6, and 18.11.3 allows remote authenticated users to make requests to internal hosts. The virtual registry redirect handler accepts an upstream redirect destination without sufficient validation before issuing the follow-up request. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and control of a virtual registry upstream, and the reported consequence is limited to internal-host request reachability and low confidentiality exposure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=18.10 <18.10.6
