Local memory corruption via wrong TLB flush

Memory corruption in Linux 7.0 allows local users to read or alter memory and crash workloads through page-table reclaim. zap_pte_range passes pte_free_tlb an address one page-table range past the table being freed, so architecture-sensitive TLB invalidation can retain stale references after reuse. An unprivileged local process can drive the path with mmap and madvise; AMD systems and Intel systems using INVPCID are exposed to stale mappings, corruption, and crashes.
