Reception denial via unreplenished RX queue

Denial of service in the Linux kernel ntb_netdev driver allows remote attackers to stall NTB packet reception via network traffic. The ntb_netdev_rx_handler function passes each received socket buffer upward before allocating a replacement, and an allocation failure leaves the RX slot empty with no refill path. The NTB link must already be active and repeated allocation failures must deplete its 100 receive slots; reception then remains stalled while the interface stays up.
