Local denial of service via RX-page leak
Published Aug 22, 2026 · Updated Aug 22, 2026
Resource leak in the atlantic network driver in Linux allows local users to exhaust memory by repeatedly cycling a network interface. aq_ring_rx_deinit() visits only the posted RX-ring interval, leaving pages and DMA mappings attached to consumed buffers awaiting batched refill. The atlantic driver and permission to bring its interface down are required; repeated teardown can deplete memory and interrupt the system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
