Administrator session compromise via unescaped queue fields
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Stored XSS in mailcow: dockerized 2026-03b allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The Queue Manager assigns Postfix sender, queue-name, and queue-ID values from /api/v1/get/mailq/all directly to DataTables cells that use innerHTML. Exploitation requires a crafted message to remain queued and an administrator to open /admin/queue, exposing same-origin administrator data and actions.
