Kernel memory corruption via unreferenced PA sync connection

Use-after-free in Linux kernel Bluetooth hci_sync 6.15 through 7.1.7 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory via PA sync teardown. hci_connect_pa_sync queues asynchronous work with a raw hci_conn pointer, allowing teardown to free the object before create_pa_complete dereferences it. The affected 6.12 line starts at 6.12.28 and the 6.14 line at 6.14.6; unprivileged Bluetooth ISO socket access and a successful teardown race can crash the host or enable kernel privilege escalation.
