System hang via reclaim during blocked I/O

Deadlock in the mpi3mr SCSI driver in the Linux kernel allows local users to hang the system during fault handling. mpi3mr_fault_uevent_emit performs GFP_KERNEL allocations directly and through kobject_uevent_env while host I/O is already blocked, allowing reclaim to wait on that same I/O. The path is limited to fault-watchdog or reset processing, and successful exploitation interrupts host availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
