Memory corruption in Autodesk 3ds Max 2026 before 2026.1 and 2027 before 2027.1 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted WRL file. Autodesk identifies the WRL parser as the affected locus but has not published the specific memory operation or input field that triggers corruption. Exploitation requires user interaction to parse the file, and successful code runs with the privileges of the current 3ds Max process.
