Adjacent kernel memory corruption via subframe length mismatch
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Memory corruption in Linux 4.5 and later allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via crafted TDLS frames. mwifiex_11n_dispatch_amsdu_pkt passes a subframe pointer with the parent skb length, causing a use-after-free or an oversized element walk beyond the subframe. TDLS-capable mwifiex firmware and a TDLS-ethertype subframe are required; the overrun can disclose or corrupt kernel memory or panic the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
