Local denial of service via replacement-bio leak
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Resource leak in the Linux kernel md/raid10 component allows local users to exhaust memory through RAID10 discard operations. The put_all_bios() cleanup skips bio_put() for devs[i].repl_bio when a reused r10bio retains a nonnegative read_slot from an earlier read. Reachability requires discard activity on an affected RAID10 array with a replacement bio; repeated leaks can destabilize or halt the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
