Kernel memory corruption via SIW endpoint use-after-free
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux SIW RDMA driver allows remote attackers to corrupt kernel memory through a malformed MPA connection request. siw_socket_disassoc can release the endpoint's final reference before its caller clears the socket pointer, leaving siw_cm_work_handler to access the freed endpoint. An unauthenticated TCP connection to an administrator-started SIW listener is sufficient, exposing the host to a kernel panic or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
