CVE-2026-7405

Denial of service via out-of-bounds TIF read

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Out-of-bounds reads in Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, and Revit allow attackers to cause denial of service by importing a crafted TIF file. The image handling library reads beyond an allocated buffer while parsing the TIF during image import; Autodesk has not identified the parser routine or malformed field. Exploitation requires user interaction to import the file, and Autodesk reports denial of service without code execution for this CVE.
